Very helpful staff, savoury breakfasts, good job!
Cosy room, lovely bed and super comfy bathroom. Breathtaking view of beach and estuary. Stunning, absolutely perfect location opposite the estuary. Overall a very special stay on a return visit soon.

Lovely fresh fruit and yogurt at breakfast.
Shower pressure was too low for a comfortable experience.

Incredibly beautiful and lovely hotel located close enough to several excellent restaurants. Plenty of products for a savoury and fresh breakfast. Neat, tastefully decorated room with a fab balcony window, comfortable bed plus bathroom! The extremely helpful staff all round. Nice location in Alnmouth area with private parking if needed. Minute walk from Beaches Fine Arts Series.

We explored the beach and enjoyed a fantastic meal at a local pub. The rooms were clean, and the visiting lounge was a nice touch. Just a heads up, parking might be tricky during busy times, so plan ahead.
We faced a frustrating experience getting in since the key didn't work, and the manager was unhelpful when we called for assistance.

charming stay with minor view limitations
The large residents' lounge had fine views across the estuary. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, awesome for a good start to the day.

Limited clarity regarding parking arrangements, could improve signage for one-way systems and narrow roads!!!

Charming views right by the estuary. The variety of room options, including ground floor patio areas and a first-floor balcony room, offers something for everyone.
The mattress in Room 2 needed some attention. A bit too tired with an odd slump, made it uncomfortable at times. Breakfast didn't feel fresh, with limited options that missed the mark on quality. The grass in front of the building needed a good trim, and weak shower flow made for an annoying rinse-off after a long day.

We stayed for three nights in Room 2 and really enjoyed the quiet location. The staff were helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to. The cleanliness of the room impressed me daily. The mattress felt quite tired and had a weird slump on one side, made sleeping a bit uncomfortable at times. Breakfast included lovely fresh fruit, but it didn't always feel fresh, disappointing. The grass in front of the guest house needed a trim. It detracted slightly from the overall view. I felt relaxed and happy despite a few minor hiccups.
